What’s a party without awesome party games? Since 2009 we have figured out which games children love and which games are too costly or have low entertainment value. Since the goal is to give your child the best party ever, we only play games that are 100% kid approved! At an average party will play three games but sometimes there will be time to play more depending on how much fun the children have at a designated activity. Every party encourages team work, creative play and of course fun!
The games listed below are for ages 6-9. For preteen and teen parties, please check out our games for ages 10-14.
Everyone leaves the party winning a Collectible Mini Figure!
Here’s a list of our games:
Children will get building right away as they arrive to the party. Free play allows the children to do just that, play freely with a table full of Lego bricks! This is great warm up activity and gives latecomers a chance to arrive without missing out on any of the games.
Children will work in teams to build the highest tower they can out of our 30 pounds of Lego bricks. Then, the party host will help measure their tower as it reaches the ceiling! This game encourages creativity as well as problem solving. We play this game while everyone is waiting to race their cars, sometimes children like spending more time on the challenge. It all depends on the group!
Minifigure Motorway: Fire vs. Ice!
All children will get to build a race car from a basic car kit (plate, wheels, and steering wheel). The fun is making the cars creative and fast out of our 30 pounds of supplied Lego. We supply two race tracks, one for team “Fire” and one for team “Ice.” The children are divided into these two teams and then pairs race each other to see who knocks the most minifigures down in 3 pushes. The team with the highest cumulative score are declared the winners. All children get to take home their cars!
My Birthday Story (ages 8+)
During this game, all the children will win a Collectible Lego Minifigure of their choice to keep! To play, all the children stand in a circle and are handed a number. Then, the party host will read a story featuring the name of the birthday child. When the group hears the word “left” in the story, they pass their number to the person on their left. When they hear the word “right” in the story, they pass their numbers to the right. Whatever number they end up with at the end of the story determines the order the children get to choose the mini figure they want. Of course, the birthday child picks first! We are currently awarding mini figures from Series 2-8 as well as other cool figures.
The Minifigure Shuffle (ages 6-8)
During this music game, each child will be given a card with a number. Then, they will pass the cards around a circle to the beat of music. When the music pauses, everyone throws their cards in the middle of the circle and takes another one. At the end of the song, whatever card they hold will have a number that determines the order they get to choose a collectible minifigure to keep. The birthday child will get to pick first. We are currently awarding mini figures from Series 2-8 as well as other cool figures.
LEGO Bracelets (Lego Friends Party)
If the birthday child is a girl, a bracelet craft is added to the party. Using only Lego pieces and string, girls can create awesome bracelets like the one pictured below!
